Why We’re Building Schematika

Every I travel to look at properties and travel for leisure wishing I could have a glimpse of what I was going into. Last year I bought a house halfway across the country without ever taking a visit. It worked out so well that I did it again this year. This year it was in North Carolina which I absolutely love. In addition to seeing this the things around the country when I travel there I really like to utilize technology to help me determine where to buy or where to go (hence the data driven approach to everything). Both years I did this was because of an amazing tool called Matterport. Matterport is a digital camera that scans everything around it allowing for a 3D tour to be created. Although, it is widely used for real estate sales there are endless possibilities such as retail tours, office space tour for incoming employees, engineering tours, and so much more. This is has become extremely popular as people don’t need to be in the home to see it and during lockdowns for example could still get the chance to view a home. Although, a few years ago people would rarely buy property sight unseen it is becoming more common. Matterport makes this a greater possibility. This makes Schematika a great opportunity for us to get involved today in something that will help us see tomorrow.
